Decanter @ Section 17

Having tried Decanter in Damansara Heights for their breakfast, this time we were at the newly renovated Petaling branch for dinner.

The specials are not on the fixed menu but rather, there is a blackboard and the specials are written on it with chalk. Ordered the Mixed Grill which is more of a meaty affair. A huge sausage, a piece of ham, grilled tomato, a piece of chicken, a piece of steak, one large prawn topped with cheese and comes with a small salad and mashed potatoes. This in my opinion is on the oily side. Portion is huge though and can be shared between two light eaters.

The Mixed Grill came with a nice side of salad and gravy lightly dressed.

Chicken Wings....thought that it would be grilled chicken wings or maybe fried but it turned out to be some stir fried chicken wing pieces. Was a little on the salty side and is suitable to go with a pint or two but definitely not as a snack on its own. Made a mistake of not asking for more information.

Parking is a breeze here as it is located in the quiet residential area near Tiara Damansara apartments and avoid parking woes and jams! Nice place to chill with wine and drinks too.
