This place is famous for their pork trotter tied with strings. If not mistaken, they originated from Klang. The soup of the bak kut teh is different from what I have tried. It is thicker and doesn't have the strong herbal smell (dong guai) but it is pretty good in my opinion.
Menu
Ka Chak (RM10) which means the pork leg is tied with strings (Pao Xiang's signature method) that holds the whole leg together. I heard they say that pork skin contains a lot of collagen and this has loads of it :) The meat is tender and skin is well done.Ka Chak
Choy Sum (RM9) was just ok . Lightly steamed vegetables with sauce. Stomach (RM10) was just alright too. I wished it could be a little on the softer side and that is just my personal preference. Sam Chan Bah (RM10) which literally means three layer meat that is the pork belly was really tender albeit a little on the fatty side. Pai Kut (RM10) was excellent. The rib portions is very generous and each portion contains about five of these four inches ribs length wise.Clockwise from top: Choy Sum, Stomach, Sum Chan Bah, Pai Kut
